Diabetic Complications Prevention Fun Fair

To raise public awareness of diabetic complications, the Diabetic Complications Prevention Fun Fair was jointly held by the Endocrine & Diabetes Centre and HKSH Diabetes Club at the Hospital Auditorium on 26 May 2007. It kicked off with presentations by specialists in diabetes and ophthalmology, nurses and dieticians sharing with over 100 guests the basics of blood glucose regulation and the problem of diabetic eyes. Workshops were set up outside the Auditorium, where the visitors were given practical tips on the prevention of diabetic complications through games and a specially designed buffet.
