Gestational Diabetes Indiviual Counselling Programme

Gestational diabetes is a type of diabetes that some women develop during pregnancy. A close monitoring and control of blood glucose level during pregnancy is crucial, because if not treated, it can cause problems for mothers and babies. Most of the time, gestational diabetes ceases when the baby is born.

The Programme includes :

Consultation during pregnancy (including the first visit)	5
• Endocrinologist Consultation   • Dietitian Consultation   • Diabetes Nurse Specialist Consultation
Consultation after childbirth	1
• Post partum oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) and counselling
