| 1. | With the opening of new maternity wards on 27/F, 28/F and 29/F on 23 December 2009, the room charges under the existing maternity packages will be subject to adjustments for different room types. For more information, please click here. |
| 2. | The existing maternity packages offered by our Maternity Unit will be adjusted with effect from 1 April 2010. Those who paid deposit before 1 January 2010 will not be affected. |

| • Obstetrician, Paediatrician, Anaesthesiologist and other doctors' fees are not included. |
| Charges not included for Mother: |
| • Additional surgical procedure, medication and investigations: e.g. laboratory tests; blood transfusion; ultrasound; X-ray; additional intravenous infusion over 2,000 c.c.; emergency treatment and use of special equipment. |
| • Own choice of meals and overnight companion bed. |
| Charges not included for Baby: |
| • Incubator; photo-therapy; additional medication and investigations: e.g. laboratory tests; blood transfusion; ultrasound; X-ray; intravenous infusion; emergency treatment and use of special equipment. |
| Other Charges: |
| • Epidural anaesthesia in Delivery Suite: additional charges for general ward HK$5,000; semi-private room HK$7,500; private room HK$10,000. |
| • Specified time for Caesarean Section during 8:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday: additional charges for general ward HK$3,000; semi-private room HK$4,500; private room HK$6,000. At other times or during public holidays: additional charges for general ward HK$10,000; semi-private room HK$15,000; private room HK$20,000. Anytime between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am (next day): general ward HK $20,000; semi-private room HK $25,000; private room HK $30,000. |
| Emergency Caesarean Section (including those who have no booking, those who start labour before the booked time, or those who fail in trial of labour): Effective on 1 April 2010 • general ward HK$5,000; semi-private ward HK$7,500; private room HK$10,000. |
| • Public holidays, Sundays or specified time for induction of labour: additional charges for general ward HK$3,000; semi-private ward HK$4,500; private room HK$6,000. |
| • Multiple pregnancies: extra 35% of the package charge for each additional baby. |
| Collection of cord blood for stem cell storage: Effective on 1 April 2010 • general ward HK$600; semi-private room HK$900; private room HK$1,200. |
| Husband accompanying wife inside the Operating Theatre: Effective on 1 April 2010: HK$600 |
| Remarks: |
| • Mothers scheduled for elective Caesarean Section should be admitted four hours before operation. It allows sufficient time for preoperative care to the expectant mother and helps relieve her stress prior to the operation.Admission less than four hours is considered as emergency Caesarean Section. |
| • Price is subject to change without prior notice. |
| • Once a package is opted, withdrawal from the package is not allowed. |

As we are arranging extra medical personnel to fulfil special requests such as specified time of delivery by caesarean section, the charges of such arrangements would be adjusted accordingly.
