About Us
Pain Management Clinic offers integrated multidisciplinary management to patients with pain conditions. The programme aims at relieving suffering of patients as well as improving their psychological and social wellbeing.

The clinic provided consultation and pain education (e.g. self-coping techniques) to both acute/ chronic cancer and non-cancer patients. Problems like common pain conditions in the body and joints, post-operative and difficult pain syndromes, neuropathic pain, terminal cancer pain and psychosomatic pain are treated with a multi-modal team approach. It also provides multi-dimensional assessments of the patient's personal pain experience.

The more options are available in modern pain therapy, the more effective is the pain management service in achieving early ambulation and recovery for patients. It can also improve their quality of life by lessening the pain associated with respiratory and bowel complications as well as preventing pain-induced physical disability (disused syndrome).
